Was Jack Able To Fit On The Door?

There is a debate on if Jack was able to fit on the door at the end of Titanic. People say that Rose never loved Jack since she never tried to make room for him, but what people don’t remember or realize is that Jack did try and get on the door, but due to the weight of both of them being on the door, it began to sink into the water. Jack wasn’t able to get onto it because it would have put both of them at risk of being in the water while holding onto the door. Jack decided to leave Rose where she was and stay in the water to make sure that she survived and be able to live a full life.
Some things in movies aren’t that deep when you think about what led up to it. If you pay attention to what happened then you would have known that Jack tried to get on the door, but wasn’t able to because the door would have been too heavy and they both would have been in the water.
People wanted Jack and Rose to be together so they came up with a scenario that wouldn't be possible if they really watched that scene. It was a short term relationship that was going to end once the ship docked in New York. Rose wanted out of a bad relationship and Jack just saw her as a hookup. Once he got to New York, he was just gonna walk away.
This was a whirlwind romance that never would have made it once the journey was over. They were in the moment as are all holiday romances. Rose wanted something she couldn’t have and Jack just wanted to have a good time. If he really loved her then he would have tried everything to be with her.
Jack and Rose were never meant to be.
