Dear Alberta

You are at risk of losing everything, you will lose everything that you worked for. You will have to build a whole new life with new rules, new laws and a new government. Your finances and savings will be affected, your retirement will no longer be accepted as you won’t be able to live off your pension or any savings you have put aside. Everything you worked for will be disappear. 

You will not be treated with respect, you will not be able to travel anywhere with a Canadian passport since you will no longer be Canadian. Your citizenship will never longer be valid. Your children are no longer going to be Canadian and won’t be able to benefit from anything that applies to Canadian residents. You lose your right to be Canadian. 

Where do you think you're going to go? You are surrounded by two provinces and a territory and since you will need a new passport, you can’t just travel over into another province without having the proper paperwork. Getting supplies during an emergency are no longer going to be provided since Canada is no longer going to offer support. We are not going to help during a natural disaster. You will have to take care of things on your own with no support from your neighbours. 

It will cost you billions of dollars to rebuild and Canada is no longer going to be there for you. You turned your back on Canada and Canada will turn their back on you. We no longer are able to trust you. We will no longer be able to support you. 

Once you leave, there is no coming back. You made your choice, now you got to live with that for the rest of your life. Once you leave Canada, you are no longer Canadian.
