It’s okay to say that your struggling, it’s okay to admit that you need help. The more open you are in working on your mental health, the better chance that you will find ways to help you live with it. If you are willing to go to the dentist and get your teeth taking care of then it’s okay for you to ask for a mental health check in.

If you know that there is something going on, reach out. There’s no shame in telling someone that you are struggling. Someone is always there to listen and guide you in the right direction. All you have to do is speak up and say something. There is nothing wrong. It’s okay to not be okay.

The more you’re open about what’s going on, the better it’s going to get. It’s not going to happen overnight, but the more people know, the more help and support you’re going to get, but there’s also ways you can reach out to someone if you think they are struggling or is struggling and needs that extra help.

If you notice a change in someone or they start to become more introverted when you know their extroverted, you can ask them what’s been going on. They may not know that they’re acting differently, or they may not have the strength to speak up because they don’t have the energy to say anything.

People feel like their alone, but we have to show them that there are other people that feel the same way they do, that they are going through the same thing they are. They have support, but they have to be one to come forward and talk about it. We can’t force someone to talk, we have to just be there for them, encourage them. Ask questions, engage them. Don’t judge them, they came to you for help. They trust you. It’s going to be hard to hear what someone is going through, but if you’re willing to listen and be patient then you can help them through it. There's always going to be someone there to help you.

Talking about your mental health isn’t a bad thing. The more you talk about it, the more we can learn about it. There are things that people don’t know and if you share what you’re thinking and feeling, the more we can learn and educate ourselves, not only to help you, but to help others.

There’s always going to be there for you. No matter who they are, all you have to do is be honest and open with them. You are a lot stronger then you think you are. The more you talk, the more you're going to learn about yourself. Its okay to be honest. There is always going to be safe space for you. All you have to do is take the first step and ask for help.
