The Ketamine Queen Gets 15 Years

The woman who is known as the ketamine queen was sentenced to 15 years in her involvement in Matthew Perry’s death.

She knew what she was doing and it led to the death of Matthew Perry. Imagine if she was involved in other overdoses, but her involvement in Matthew’s death is how she got caught. It’s about time that someone was held responsible for Matthew’s death. When she learned that it was the drugs she sold was the cause of Matthew’s death, she said she didn’t care and kept selling drugs.

Prosecutors also noted that Jasveen Sangha’s “actions show that she suspected the drugs she had sold Mr. Perry may have caused his death, so she sought to destroy digital evidence that she and a co-conspirator possessed that would link them to the deadly drug deal.”

She was the third of five defendants in the case regarding Matthew’s death that pleaded guilty and was sentenced. Her plea deal was the only that acknowledged Matthew’s passing. After serving 15 years, she will have 3 years of supervised release.

Matthew’s stepmother described how his family has suffered “irreversible” pain from his death in a victim impact statement.

“The pain you’ve caused to hundreds, maybe thousands is irreversible. There is no joy to be found, no light in the window,” Debbie Perry, who is married to Perry’s father, John Bennett Perry, wrote. “They won’t be back. That thought comes through our day everyday.”

Debbie said there is “no escape,” adding, “You caused this, you who has talent for business, enough to make money, chose the one way that hurts people.”

“How sad for you. How will you ever find joy? Have you ever found joy? How sad for you. How sad for us all. We miss him,” Debbie wrote.

“To the court. Please give this heartless woman the maximum prison sentence so she won’t be able to hurt other families like ours,” Debbie’s letter concluded.

When it comes to dealing with drugs and being known to sell drugs, you don’t care who you sell it to. All they care about is the money. The pain that Matthew’s family has gone through and knowing that he was working on trying to get and remain clean and sober is heartbreaking. All it took was for one person to say the right thing for Matthew to agree to take the drug.

Everyone that was involved in his death took advantage of a man who was at his lowest point. They did whatever they could to get not only money from him, but access to his home. Who knows what happened inside his house when he wasn’t there. Matthew trusted his medical team and the people he thought were his friends, but they were the ones that let him down.

The ketamine queen got what she deserved. She thought she was going to get away with it, but eventually it caught up with her and now she has to deal with the consequences of her actions. I hope that anyone that knew her or was somehow involved with her will come to the realization that they were with someone who made the decision to hurt people in their most vulnerable state and make money off of them. She was a bad influence on those around her and she should be held accountable.
