Charges Filed In Matthew’s Death

News have come out saying that there have been 5 people charged in the death of Matthew Perry. It has come to light that within the last couple of months of Matthew’s life, he was giving ketamine outside of what was originally giving to him.

His assistant who he had known for 30 years had played a big role. He admitted that he was the one that injected Matthew with the fatal dose on the day he passed. Over the weeks leading up to the last day, Matthew was given 20 or more vials of the drug and was injected with it several times a day.

Text messages between the 2 doctors were released stating that they were trying to scam Matthew into buy the drug for more than it was worth, they even called him a “moron”. They were going to take advantage of someone who had a history of addiction and had the money to be able to afford to pay whatever to get a fix.

“Two doctors arrested and charged in connection to Matthew Perry’s death allegedly texted each other to discuss scamming the late “Friends” star into paying more for ketamine.

Dr. Salvador Plasencia, an urgent care physician in Calabasas, California., texted Dr. Mark Chavez about purchasing ketamine so he could sell the drug to “victim M.P.,” who a law enforcement official confirmed was Perry, according to the New York Times.

Prosecutors claim Plasencia discussed with Chavez how much to charge Perry for the drug, writing, “I wonder how much this moron will pay” and “Let’s find out.”

Chavez, 54, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine and admitted to selling ketamine to Plasencia, 42. Chavez also obtained ketamine by making false representations to a wholesale distributor and by submitting a fraudulent prescription in the name of a former patient, officials said in a press conference Thursday.

The group distributed 20 vials of ketamine to Perry for $55,000 in cash, said US Attorney Martin Estrada.

“These defendants were more interested in profiting off Mr. Perry than caring about his wellbeing,” Estrada added.

Perry died in October due to a ketamine overdose and allegedly received several injections of the drug on the day he died from his live-in personal assistant. The assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, is the one who found Perry dead later that day.

It’s sad that there are people out there who are willing to take full advantage of someone when they are at their lowest point. Even if Matthew relapsed and was using ketamine, it makes the people involved look like they don’t care and in this case, all they cared about was money and it didn’t matter if lives were affected, they wanted to sell something to someone who had a history and instead of helping him recover, they enabled him, gave him something that he worked so hard to get away from. They knew what they were doing, and they are going to suffer the consequences of their actions. Who knows what else these people did with other people? How many people got scammed because of them?

Matthew had been through so much and he was being treated with no respect. The people he trusted treated him like he was nothing. He was means so much to so many people. He doesn't know the impact he has on the world. I wish he was able to see that.
