What's In A Name?

When it was time to create a blog about my experiences with Asperger’s and being on the Autism spectrum, I knew what I wanted to call it. I had this name in my head for years and if I were to ever write a book about my journey, this was what I would call it.
Anything, but Ordinary came easy. I got the idea from an Avril Lavigne song. It fit perfectly. It was a name that I knew I wanted to use, and it felt right. People with autism aren’t ordinary, we’re anything, but ordinary.
It wasn’t my first time naming a blog. I had One Goal, One Mission for 11 years. My heart wasn’t in it as much as it was when I started. It also helped that the platform that the blog was on shut down so in a way that was the push to end that chapter and start a new one with a completely new idea. It was the right time.
One Goal, One Mission started as a way for me to be able to meet my dream team, the people I’ve respected and admired for years. It was my mission to write a blog and it was my goal to meet my dream team.
I always had an idea on what to write about, but once I get started, I keep thinking that no one is going to read it, so I delete it and start all over. I then realized that if I don't at least try and write something, then I will let other people down because they come onto my site to see what I'm doing.
I know that my blogs may be repetitive and probably not worth the read, but I try and come up with stuff that is appealing. You have to give me credit in staying in for as long as I am. I know that I have changed my layout for what my blog was supposed to be and if you remember at the beginning I was writing a blog everyday, but I couldn't come up with anything to say everyday. I decided that at least this way I can not write a blog if I didn't have anything to say. I felt like I was being pressured into writing a good post.
I read other blogs and they are what I want my blog to be, but I need the support of people and fresh ideas. So here's to a website, I want everyone to log onto it and give me support.
