Did My Invitation Get Lost In The Mail?

My brother is getting married today and I never got an invitation. I’ve known about the wedding for months and I was waiting for some sort of message or letter in the mail saying that I was invited, but nothing came.
I’m disappointed and hurt that he didn’t acknowledge that he was getting married and that he didn't think I was important enough to get an invitation. It shows that he doesn't respect me or value me as a person. He didn’t reach out to me and ask if I wanted to attend. Why wouldn’t I attend my own brother’s wedding?
Hearing about the wedding months after everyone else got invited really shows that he doesn't want me in his life. There was a chance that I could have attended the wedding if he had sent me an invitation back in January when everyone else got one, but as the weeks went by and I never heard from him, I knew that I wasn’t important enough to be invited. I wanted to make that choice to attend the wedding, but by not sending me an invite, he made the choice for me that he didn’t want me to be there.
This would have been a chance to reconnect and maybe use it as a way to be civil enough where he would want me to be in his life, but this wedding was the straw that broke the camel’s back. There’s nothing he could say or do now that will fix whatever it is that is going on between us. He’s had the chance to make it right by having me be involved in his wedding, but it's obvious that he doesn’t want to include me and have a relationship with me.
If he doesn't want me in his life then I don’t want him in mine. I’ve been hurt by him before and this is the last time he’s going to make me feel like I don't matter. He doesn’t care about me and it shows in his actions and his words.
Not feeling important in someone else's life is a feeling that I don’t wish on anybody. You know it's time to cut people out of your life when you think someone is important to you when they don't see you the same way. I’ve learned a lot about people when they don’t see me as a person or a friend when it comes to big life moments like weddings and babies. If you don’t want me to celebrate life's greatest moments with you then there is no need to keep you in my life. I see where I am in your life and it's obvious you don't want me to be part of it.
